Hi All and Welcome to my Galleries!

My name is Renee (Nee) Davis and I am a fairly serious amateur photo enthusiast (no plan on ever going pro, however...I want to continue to enjoy my hobby, LOL!). I currently shoot with a Canon Rebel XT (350D). My previous cameras in recent years were all Sony digicams. Most previously was my Sony 828 and the majority of photos in my galleries here were made with that camera.

I am a grandma to an adorable 6 year old grandson who lives with us (so you can guess he keeps me pretty busy!) and my husband and I enjoy a somewhat rural lifestyle in a small town in Central California.

I must admit that I'm an "aimless wanderer" (well, when I can get out nowadays!) and love to take long drives around our area in the countryside, always trying to look for that road less travelled and photographic discoveries yet to be found.

My favorite photos are those of my grandson (of course) and I also treasure the ones taken during my mini (and sometimes not so mini) travels, but I enjoy all sorts of subjects and if something catches my eye, my trusty *old* camera is always beside me.

Well, I see there are some fluffy clouds in the sky...perfect shooting weather, so I'll see you folks later! I'm out for a drive...
